Who We Are

Martin Ho Co-Founder, UX Strategy   I focus on delivering best-in-class insights, solutions and strategy.  I have partnered with clients across numerous industry verticals and have led research and design teams to shape experiences across a variety of products. In addition to executing a wide range of UX research methods and design activities, I have helped organizations foster and grow UX to become an integral part of the company DNA, frequently presenting to both product-level and executive-level audiences about UX. I believe in continuing to push the boundaries of traditional and historical UX with this simple tenet: great UX researchers are also great UX designers, and vice versa.  The blending of these two practices is critical to ensuring optimal output and project success. I am a Nikon enthusiast (sorry, Canon users) and enjoy the science of making the perfect prohibition-era cocktail.  I continue to find ways to evolve so as not to be a slave to sleep, though I have yet to crack this particular nut. Whitney McKedy Co-Founder, UX Strategy   I am passionate about stretching the boundaries of UX by engaging innovation and developing custom products and approaches that answer difficult and challenging business questions.  Experienced in user-focused research and design, I like to act as a strategic partner to clients looking to improve the way people experience their products.  To me, a stock approach produces a stock result (plus, it’s boring).  Our goal is to be mindful and collaborative in developing a plan that molds to your unique needs. Before becoming a UX junkie, my work was in the realm of social and cognitive psychology, as well as linguistic anthropology.  Ever since then, I’ve been obsessed with learning about the way humans interact with the many components of their environment. I own a trombone and a banjo, and can play both poorly (extra charge).  I love a good Wild Turkey 101 rye whiskey Old Fashioned, and my current struggle is not eating pizza every day.   M.A., University of Chicago, Social Psychology B.A., University of Kansas, Language Sciences

Gino Fiore Co-Founder, UX Strategy   Prior to my time in UX, I played the roles of industrial designer, strategist, and innovator at major product development and branding consultancies, bringing a unique and cross-disciplinary perspective to UX.  I utilize my experience in workshopping and in-depth interview methods to design new products and exceptional customer experiences. I believe that creative collaboration is the core of successful business engagements and outcomes, thriving on being a true partner to my clients. Growing up, I made pizza at my family's trattoria in Chicago and that's when I knew I was a designer.  There was nothing better than putting together a well-designed pizza for an excellent customer experience. Tiramisu is my greatness weakness, and I need two shots of espresso per day.  (Have you picked up that I'm Italian yet?)  Someday, I'm going to learn to dance salsa, but now I just eat it. B.F.A.
